Last week I walked into the local shooting range and was flagged down by one of the employees. He was talking with another gentleman about a handgun he had, an "old S&W .44". The guy didn't know much except it had been his dad's pride and joy. He'd had it for years but wasn't a gun guy so he was looking to get rid of it. I gave him a few possibilities but couldn't say more without actually seeing it. The man left and I went out to the range. Later, when I walked back into the shop the man had returned with the gun, a four-inch .44 Hand Ejector. The bluing was at about seventy percent and mechanically it was great. I told him, "I really wish you'd walked in here last month before I'd spent my year end bonus." :mad: Missed opportunities....sigh.
