Just saw this. Seems not to need moon clips.

I have no idea what the dude is saying. Wonder how many Euros it goes for?

They are beautifully made but it probably costs more than a new car. I want them I want them to bring back the Multi-caliber Medusa revolver that was made here in Texas...

They're going to be at Media Day, I want to give them a shot and see what's up.

Interesting lines. I'd like to handle one.

Twist knob speedloader? Booooooo!

Twist knob speedloader? Booooooo!

Agreed. Did you see on that other thread (Speedy Bee, something like that) where somebody has resurrected the old Dade loader. I was tempted; until I saw they sell for thirty-six bucks a pop.

I'll pass, thank you.

Two revolvers I'd really like to have are a Korth and a Manurhin. I probably could never afford to buy one, even if I could find one, but they are about as close to revolver heaven as you can get.

At $36 a pop I'll take a schnitzel in my nein nein platz and order SLV's straight from deutschland.

I wanna see something attached to that side rail.

Only so I can see a holster for that combo.

First, for a right handed shooter. Then for the other strong handed shooter.

Want.

That is all I have to contribute to this.

PS: Agree with Jeep RE: Manurhin. I am thinking of taking a post-doc in France in about 4 years. You can bet, I will apply for my permits and try to buy an MR-73 to shoot while there and bring it back with me to the US (ha...we'll see how that goes!).

They stopped making them years ago, I believe, but if you can find a way to import one to the US, I will be drooling with envy.

They are around here in the US. Century imported a few hundred (maybe a thousand or so?) a few years ago...around 2003'ish if I recall. I remember when they did it, they were like 3-400 bucks. Predictably, the ugliest of the ugly ones are now 7-800 bucks and going up in price. Oh how dumb I was then...

Here's a korth site with dimensions:

Seems like a pretty high bore axis on that revolver.

Sweet! Recoil didn't look to bad, especially since he had a low primary grip with weak-sauce support hand grip on it.

Just reinforcing the want.

So how do I convince the mistress of the castle that this is necessary. Esp. if it comes in highly priced. I have some firearms that might be sacrificed to Moloch for the price!

Shot it yesterday at media day. The trigger is GREAT. Just amazing for a factory trigger. Accuracy is fine, sights leave a little to be desired.

The biggest problem with the Korth is the existence of the 9mm LCR.

Anything on general availability and pricing for real?

I think the lack of needed clips might be a selling point as compared to the LCR but expense might be a negative?

If Korth builds a revolver that comes with a price tag that is only three digits before the decimal point, they will sell a truck load to all of us who want cheap Korths. But if they think they will take LCR market share or sell guns to cheap Cletus and his other brothers, it will never happen.

Korth says it should retail for about a grand.

Here is a first look/review (http://www.gunnuts.net/2015/01/21/a-revolver-tour-6-shot-show-edition-korth-sky-marshal-9mm/).

Welp...I don't really need food other than ramen anyways.

And I agree with one of the commentors, those look like K/L frame stocks. If they are, that decision is inspired. A Korth in 9mm with Spegel boot grips? Yes please.

I did the full court "gun writer" press this morning, and I will be getting one. Super neat gun.......and its a Korth I can afford. I look at it as being S&W Performance Center money and that is its competition. I was told that ATF may not let it in with a 2" barrel so they may go 3" for the US, which would be fine.

Korth also had a 1911...........JUST WOW. 1911 bottom end and compatible with all 1911 parts (triggers, magwells, grip safeties, etc...). Slide was sort of Glock 21ish and took Glock rear sights....AND THE INSIDES ARE HK P9S. Yes, roller locked with a locked barrel Teutonic goodness. John Browning is conspiring in the Halls of Valhalla. Killer trigger and the barrel and lock up should be a 1" 50 yard gun. Simply sick. Wayne was floored by the thing.........that speaks volumes.

A 3 inch barrel would make it even better. I just wish their proprietary loader didn't use a twist knob.

It didn't, at least while I was there. They were out of .38 ammo.
