My brother got it new in '98 but decided to reduce his caliber needs last year and gave it to me!

Need suggestions on how to best outfit it for silent fun. Best barrel, suppressor, sights, holsters, etc., to while away the time as I ease towards retirement.

Thank you.

HK sells a threaded barrel. http://us.hkwebshop.com/HKWebShop/show/byItemID/10115//360///////////true

Rather than suppressor sights, I would look at trijicon HD sights and a non concentric suppressor like the Silencerco Osprey .45

I previously had an HK USP tactical 45. I originally bought it because it had adjustable sights and the match trigger and was cheaper than the expert. I eventually picked up an AAC suppressor for it. It was a fun range toy but honestly after shooting at two or three times I found really had no purpose for the pistol suppressor and wound up selling it. For myself, a 30 caliber rifle suppressor and a 22 LR suppressor which can switch between pistol and rifle are much more useful.
