Wow, that seems VERY affordable if the MOS system turns out to be reliable and robust. Basically less than $90 for an optics-ready factory option sounds like a pretty darned good deal.

I will get on the waiting list for a G34 MOS.

Is that distributor or sub-distributor pricing?

Is that distributor or sub-distributor pricing?

True Blue Label prices the Sub Blue Label Dealers who purchase from Distributors charge $30 more.

Didn't realize the 40 was a 6-incher until I saw the new Glock Annual at Publix tonite. I was in when I thought it was 34/35/41 length, but that length takes it clean out of comfortable CC size. Regularly pack a G35 off duty.

Trying to decide if I can justify a purely hunting-sized Glock, be great in a chest-rig on the ATV, tractor or bikes. Woulda been a crowd-thriller doing Jumpouts in the mid-'90s though...

Same here, I was in for a 34/35/41 length 10MM. Don't want a 6" though.

The G40 (which should have been their dedicated .22LR pistol, OBTW) is intended to be a hunting handgun. Lots of places, minimum barrel length for hunting is 6" for handguns.

I don't think anyone at Glock envisioned that hoss being carried concealed on a regular basis...

I'm relieved the G40 is a 6" setup. It will be my woods gun. They can't make everyone happy. Maybe if enough folks buy the G40 they'll eventually do a 5" model.

I've read it's the G20 wide slide BTW not the new narrow G41 style.

Which suggests possibly a 41 MOS and drop in an aftermarket 10mm bbl when they become available, just for we pickers of nits...

Picked mine up from a large LE dealer. Added Dawson precision MOS co-witness sights and RMR RM06 3.25 MOA dot.
I really enjoy this set up.

Thats gonne be my exact setup! With how this mounts do you find that the iron sights are more of a lower 1/3 co witness?
Any issues with the rmr flying off?

These particular sights were designed for the MOS glocks. I don't think they are lower than usual. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/CategoryProductList.jsp?cat=SIGHT+SETS:Glock+MOS+S ight+Sets

I use this RMR sealing plate from trijicon. It has the proper height screws and I added a drop of blue Loctite to each screw although it already had it pre-applied and so far 300 rounds zero issues. Zero is holding and accuracy is very good. Sight is rock solid!
