The sad thing is this is the second time he's shot himself.

Oh lord, that demon of a trigger on the Glock will kill everybody!

At least that's what I heard...

This is why we don't:

* Draw a loaded firearm at the sales counter.

and

* Speed reholster.

Very easy to blame the equipment when it's an end user error.

Disturbing is the number of individuals that I stopped from drawing loaded guns at my sales counter in the past. Just over three years I worked behind a counter and I averaged one every six weeks or so.

Well - it could have been http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?14405-Mag-Carrier-Position. Look at the Belly view pictures!

Also, when the guy is checking out the new gun - finger on the trigger into his palm? I suppose they checked the gun repeatedly before that.

I thought all guns were loaded?

Not if you are chief! They are omniscient.

Did anyone start a thread on the Chief who managed to shoot his wife in bed at 4:00 AM because the gun was in the bed and he was moving it?

Guys,

If you'll look at the video at the 2:11 spot, it shows the Glock 23 as it is holstered PRIOR to drawing.

Gentlemen, that is not a holster made for the Glock.

Notice that the trigger is exposed. A proper holster (for any gun) will have that completely covered.

AD (just my 2 cents on the problem)

That explains how he previously shot himself in the hand, and apparently learned nothing from the experience.

Gun's not fully seated in the holster.

And, yeah, this happened last March (http://booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com/2014/03/stop-touching-it-episode-no-whatever.html). I think we discussed it here back then.
