Anyone know if these two Ruger Revo's have Drop In hammers or are they gunsmith fit only? Leaning toward installing bobbed DAO hammers in my pair and hoping this is something I can just swap without needing to send 'em off.

Thanks!

If it's a factory part it will drop in.

Happy to help. If you can find factory bobbed GP100 hammers let me know because I'll buy 3.

I would also be interested in a factory bobbed GP100 hammer.

Thank you.

After your initial reply, I started looking. Holy crap. This is starting to look like a unicorn hunt. I am gonna call Ruger next week, but I bet I get told the same as you.

If you don't have the parts in hand, the chances of getting them from Ruger are about 0 unless you have compromising photos of the customer svc manager. And by compromising I don't mean doing coke off a stripper. That's not good nuff. I mean "he's working for a gun company while taking a side gig as a gigolo for Dianne Feinstein, purchasing the affections of a gentleman caller or HD video evidence of voting Democrat".

Even then you're likely to get a handful of random P-series parts in a brown paper bag stuffed in your mailbox. Don't count on getting exactly two bobbed gp/sp hammers.

Ruger doesn't sell these parts.

I have a GP100 with a bobbed DAO hammer and would like to trade for a sa/da hammer.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that you will need a trigger with the SA sear as well, provided that the DAO is factory.

The SA notch is on the hammer. I'll trade a Da/SA hammer this guy's bobbed hammer.
