match this past weekend in Moss, Norway. The match takes place in old bombshelter tunnels/caves in the middle of the city. Pretty cool what you can do with the right planning.
Took 3rd overall with 91.58%

That looks cool and good job. Where did they get all those bullet traps?

One of our local clubs makes portable bullet traps... Just some steel plate with heavy duty rubber, then a veneer of plywood over it.

Works well...

They bought those traps, but will probably make their own next time. Instead of having wheels on them they use a small pallet jack to move them around, which is a way better method as they stay in place during the match. Occasionally there'd be some splatter come back if you got too close, but for the most part it was fine.
As is typical over here (still in Norway) the match was great and the people were too. I helped build the stages the week before, was very cool seeing my first bomb shelter/tunnel/cave.

Excellent handling skills, slavex. That wasn't your first rodeo.

What pistol?

Looks like an SP-01, Shadow variation I bet.

Borrowed Shadow with my Canadian grips on it, and yeah I've done this a few times ;)
Off to Israel for a vacation and maybe some shooting on Tuesday and then up to Moscow for a match on December 4th and 5th.

Man, you get around! Traveling with the gats, or borrowing?

borrowing again on this trip, too much hassle. and gun storage in Russia was more expensive than renting a gun.

Slavex,
If you know, could you please describe the Norweigan attitude towards guns and self defense. I assume they think the American ease of CCW is absolutely crazy and that shooting sports are essentially just golf with guns?

Actually the Norwegian opinion from the people who I've shot with is that they should be allowed to carry and protect themselves. They disagree strongly with the laws that prevent them from doing so.
The politicians are anti gun and are the ones making the laws.

Big controversy when I was leaving, officers who used to have to keep guns in the trunk, are now required to carry them due to threats against them. I think gone are the days of the unarmed police officer in Norway

I bet it was loud as hell. I wonder if the ro had to turn down the sensitivity on the shot timer.

Rob,
Did you see Giovanni Henriksen?

Don't recognize the name Fred, was he at the match?

The shot timers seemed to work ok on the same settings as I run mine at home. Even the CED Pro worked well, which shocked me honestly, as mine doesn't like my indoor at all.
And yeah, with Open guns, I had to be double plugged, even some of the Standard guns were pretty brutal.

Now in Moscow after a week in Israel (no shooting) for a match on the 4th and 5th. Will probably have to wait until I get to Iceland or maybe even get home to post that video as the internet here isn't so good.
