Recently, I noticed that canting the pistol while holding in my strong hand about 10-15degrees inboard feels more natural since the wrist is aligned with the forearm. When shooting one handed I prefer this method as well. I know there are some instructors that insist on holding the pistol strictly vertical. One reason I remember was that "a gun was designed to function in the vertical orientation".
What are the pros/cons of canted vs "strict vertical" hold?

I shoot with like a quarter gangsta for SHO and half gangsta grip for WHO. It's about the same as if I just make a lazy, relaxed fist out in front of me, and this similarity was intentional. YMMV.
