It is a really short press release.

SMYRNA, GA - GLOCK, Inc. announces a decision has been made to end the 3-year relationship with Team GLOCK Captain, KC Eusebio.

KC leaves behind a record of many successes on behalf of Team GLOCK, competing in approximately 40 major competitions and winning first place 19 times. However, the past few months of competitions have resulted in a frustrating record for the former Captain.

"We wish KC continued progress as a shooter," stated Josh Dorsey, VP of GLOCK, "KC did wonderful things during his time as our Captain and we wish him all the best in the future."

Guess Open Glock isn't as good as Open Limcat.

I met him recently, shooting at my club. I was packing up and heard some phenomenally fast shooting from the next bay over and I always look for the chance to meet members that are pretty serious. What a nice young man. I was very sorry to hear of his gun problems at Nats. I trust he'll land on his feet or already has.

Didn't his race Glock completely crap the bed at Nationals?

And it is also out and about that his World gun had problems this week also. I think there is a pic of it floating around that it's a Limcat. IDK for sure.

I remember him as a kid at the local range and he was scary fast right from the begining. He was a freak as was JoJo.

Open. When I visited him at our club I had to squint to see the Glock in there. Big ole comp, an optic (I assumed C-more or RMR) but I didn't pay close attn., it wasn't the huge SRS that some said he tried out. Big magwell. I know I know how do you not know a C more from an RMR? Think critical incident witness. I wasn't really trying to look at the optic, just exchange pleasantries about the drills he was shooting. :D

The frame and the slide were made by Glock, I am not sure much else on his pistol was made by Glock.

I played around with an open Glock for 3 gun. Not worth the headache.

Kinda what I was thinking. If you de-Glock a Glock it might not always give you the best results. Assuming, of course, the gun didn't have a problem to start with...because we know Glock would never ship a problematic firearm.

Open Glocks may not get you killed on the streets, but will come close

Outside of the well known issues with the .40s, almost all of the problems I have seen with Glocks have been due to aftermarket "upgrades"

Yep. I tell guys at work that, but they don't listen. Then they have problems and are surprised by it.

Next, I'll bet someone is going to tell us that the same guys bring the same wonky guns to same matches week after week after week, and still act surprised when they fail.

Haha, so wait, if you have a ton of different aftermarket stuff of varying tolerances and dimensions...you may have reliability issues?

My inner 1911 enthusiast just had some mad lulz
