I added one to an order a few months back and it has performed well in 6 IDPA matches. In comparison to the CMC Powermags I've been using, the Brownell's mag seems 25% lighter in weight. Has anyone experienced durability issues or otherwise reduced service life with the Brownell's magazines?

Thanks

I've got three ish of the 8 rounders...I don't have any problems with them. The tubes are longer than a 7 rounder, which I like because theoretically, the spring shouldn't wear as quickly. Uses pretty standard wadcutter lips, and me likey the round follower design. That said, I haven't really run a lot of ammo through them. They are basically Metalform 8rd round follower mags sold through Brownells. I'd put my money on the CMC's being more durable, but between these and CMC, I'd choose 6 of one and a half dozen of the other...

I have quite a few of the Metalform Elite mags, CMC shooting stars and power mags. The body on the CMC mags seems sturdier but I like the follower on the Metalform better.
