I have decided to start this journal in hopes that it will help me reignite my interest in practicing again. I have slacked off the last year/year-and-a-half when it comes to both dry fire and more purposeful practice. Hopefully I will get to a point where practice is enjoyable again.
I plan on starting this journey tomorrow, where I will establish a current baseline with my Glock 19. On Wednesday, I will be receiving a S&W SD9 and will do a 2,000-2,500 round test. I am hoping this will get me into the habit of dry firing every day and taking better notes. As a added bonus, I am hoping this pistol will turn out to be a viable alternative to certain 'other brands' for people on a tight budget.
I am leaving this journal open because I value the opinions and advice of this forum. Please feel free to critique as harshly as you want, I promise you it won't hurt the one feeling I have. The objective of this is to better myself, and any and all advice is welcome.
