Versa Max Armorer Help

I bought a used Versamax that is already modified for 3gun. It has a weird problem where the Carrier (door where you feed ammo) won't open because the feed latch release is not holding the feed latch assembly (long blade that moves when you hit the bolt release) and the feed latch assembly blocks the carrier from opening.

1) Any suggestions;
2) Any good armorers in the NoVa area I can pay to fix it?
