I picked up some Lancer L5 a week ago to use only with 300blk. Similar design with metal feed lips, feeds and loads very nicely. Imo better then p - mags so far.

If I knew the HK version was available I would have purchased them as well to try out.

We have two at work that we have used a time or two for function testing M4’s. They feel cheap as hell but seem to work well. I haven’t done any torture testing of them so I can’t say how they would hold up. For the price I would just use Pmags. If you want something translucent then, Lancers.

I have tested one of mine with an SR15, 16S, and MR556. No problems so far, but very low round count. I prefer slimmer mags.

I run three for training mags that I use weekly.

Boringly reliable.

They work and so far no issues.

If you shop around you can get them cheaper.

I loaded 1 up with 30 rounds, loaded up a Lancer L5 AWM with 30 rounds, and loaded up a Gen 3 PMAG with 30 rounds. I then froze them in my freezer, and then took them out 1 by 1 and dropped them on the feed lips (from 5-6 feet onto concrete). All mags survived drop #1. On drop #2, the PMAG split open and violently vomited rounds all over the place, and the LAncer's feed-lips became slowly more deformed on that and successive drops until on drop 3-4, I think it would have had real issues. The HK mag scuffed the feed-lips and soldiered on through a half-dozen or so drops and I stopped beating on it, then. I did the test because I was bored and it mirrored Magpul video footage when the Gen 3 PMAG came out.
