Man thats a big lizard.

Do they get aggressive towards people ? Or do they tend to want to be left alone and not cause to much trouble ?

Oh, they will attack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fatal_alligator_attacks_in_the_United_Stat es_by_decade). They also like dogs.

Before I even opened this thread the old song, "Amos Moses" by Jerry Reed was running through my head.

I used to see gators in the lakes in Gainesville,FL at night, when I lived there for a few months long ago.
That would make several of the ones I used to see back then, I think.
