View Full Version : my HK - anyone else got one?
So I am throwing gear together tonight, for leaving mid-day tomorrow, on a 2,000 mile helicopter trip. Anyone else have this HK, which is part of my safety equipment? I bet Bolke doesn't even have one.

I carry one as a BUG and to set things on fire.
Actually I just made that up because I am jealous I don't have one.

Oh.........I was serious..... There was some place that was going to make non lethal rounds for these things. Would have been a really neat little platform. You could have went from "on-fire" or "stun".......which is great as far as options go.

Had one and flares for 20+ years, sold it this past year. Neat unit.

Yeah, well, I had no idea such a thing existed, so your post played an important role in my day.

I have to admit that’s pretty cool, I don’t think I have ever seen a mouse pad that small.

Are we not doing "phrasing" anymore?
Can you still get flares for these things ?
Local pawn shop has one with the box.

Flares are the hard part. I have 18, and don't plan to use any more of them except for a very good reason.
Anyone checked Doc Roberts' list to see which flare shows up on his "list" for having the best intermediate bear-IER performance?

Cool item but I'm more interested in the helicopter that can fly 2000 miles. Where the heck do you need to go to that far away that would require a chopper?

You have a PM HCM.

Helicopters can go a long way if you have motion lotion (jet A). Trip is approaching over, we are spending the night at YVK's house so he can coonfinger the HK.

Got one. But, it's got to be -- oh, derp -- 25+ years old. How long are the flares good for? Still in the original box.

I saw one of these in the local classifieds the other day and thought it would be cool to have one.
