I'm hoping to get a reference list of links to articles on events such as shootings stopped by good guys and gun owner victories. No discussion, just links and excerpts if need be.

Mas Ayoob has documented some in his American Handgunner column. Including one where a guy saved a cop
using a lot of ammo from "standard capacity magazines."

There is also a small book about a guy in South Africa who fought terrorists with AKs using a snubnose revolver.
The element of surprise worked for him as the attackers didn't expect resistance at a church. I can't recall the title
and the book has migrated out of the bookshelf near the computer.
