View Full Version : Post a image of your sight picture.

From my frustration on finding sights for my picture I had this idea.


Find a spot where there is a white or light colored wall.
Hold your pistol out as if you were using it (make sure your firearm is clear).
Take four photos: 1. Rear sight in focus (pressed out and close up), 2. Front sight in focus (pressed out and close up).
Post the photos here. Use large thumbnails and link to the original sized photo. Highly recommend you use https://imgur.com/ for your photos.

Some tips. Have a light source pointed down at the sights and the length of the slide to reduce shadows.

Sorry for the poor quality. This may be of no use to you at all. The only working camera I own is my cell phone and I struggle with it.

It sure reminded me how much I prefer those sights. I have an identical setup on my retro commander.

Yup. Trijicon serrated with no outline.
