Just want to see what others preferences are for aiwb holster and reload positioning.

I carry mine at 11 o'clock IWB.

Reload is at 9:30 - 10:00. 11:00 is tied up with a Dark Star sheath. https://www.flickr.com/photos/78036189@N07/13564500434/

I used to run a cobbled-together set of Dale Fricke IWB mag pouches at 11-12 o'clock, right next to the gun. That worked pretty well.

At some point I tried the more conventional ~9 o'clock position with regular Blade-Tech single OWB mag pouches, and my reload improved for it.

There are a few mag pouches that are kind of AIWB-specific, that are canted and meant to be worn around 10-11 o'clock and are basically like a Limited/Open mag pouch that's been redone for concealed carry. Those seem cool but I haven't worked much with them.

Gun is at 1:00, fixed blade at 11:00, reload at 9:00.

Pistol at 1230-1, and reload IWB in a CCC mag carrier at 11.

I use a Desbiens gun leather reverse cant pouch at about 11:00, I find it conceals well if tucked in the right spot, is quick, and results in less cover garment clearance issues for me.

I found the same for the Glock. For single stack mags 8:30 works well.

My only issue is it's in the way if I want to carry both a spare and a clinch pik. Then I push the mag to 8:30/9:00 in a raven concealment carrier.

Hopefully I'll end up with some sort of combo carrier for the knife and mag.

Having it up front is nice for one other reason, I often end up with a kid on my hip and it keeps them off the spare mag.

I'm using the Fricke iwb pouch right now but I'm not crazy about it. Kytex OWB pouches print too much and the Fricke is surprisingly uncomfortable.

The only one I know of by name is the Desbiens. I think dwestfall on TPI might be making a similar thing - not sure of a company name there. The JM that SkyLine1 posted looks nice too.

Link to mag pouches at Desbiens (http://www.desbiensgunleather.com/mag-holders/) - it's "covert reverse cant" -- expect ridiculous lead times. One might have better luck with WTB ads and keeping and eye on the for sale boards.

I like the look of that JM one as well.

I got to meet dwestfall at AMIS (and recognized him by his mag pouch :p) and his is nice too, not sure if he's actively making them though.

Hey all, that was a custom set up for SkyLine1, however I will be adding them to the website asap. Until then you can either email me for an order, or order the version 2 spmp and tell me in the comments that you want the reverse cant IWB mag carrier with the 1.5" clip. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

Shield: Bladetech Nano at 12:30, spare mag in a homemade pocket pouch in my left front pocket

I should be beaten and/or flogged, but I admit I don' carry a reload that often. When I do it is in this kydex pouch I made. This of course until my Dark Star Gear rig shows up. I advocate everyone carry a spare mag, but I am just flat lazy.

Here's the comments from my the order:
Reverse Cant IWB Mag Carrier However, with some modifications to what was done for SkyLine1's... Mount holes only on one side. The cant should only be enough to make the mag's base plate is parallel with the belt. And a 1.50 split kydex loop instead of a clip. Please feel free to contact me to clarify anything.

Reason behind the mount holes, was I didn't want the extra bulk and plan to run the pouch exclusively iwb. The cant was a preference thing from playing around with reloads and carrying at various cants, kind of like that "just right" bowl of porridge. And I requested the split loop because it seems like every pair of pants I have the belt loops on it are just a little different, so the split loop should allow me to straddle a pant loop if it's in the way, and since it's a little wider than other options it should help the pouch from rotating, especially on reloads. Of course all of the above is "in theory" until I get my hot little hands on it. :)

Mine ships tomorrow, looking forward to this.

I just received my JMCK AIWB holster on Saturday. Took it to the range Sunday and all I can say is WOW! That holster is really worth the wait. Tony is awesome to deal with and ships on time 2-day priority. I really can't say enough good stuff about this holster. It is a Glock 17 length with a Glock 19 size wedge and room added for my extended forward slide release. I am running it next weekend in the Vermont USPSA championships and I have no doubt it will hold up with no problems. Once I get more time carrying it I will write a more detailed review, but for now, comfort = top-notch, customer service = top-notch, and concealability = top-notch. Tony is now my go to for ALL my Kydex period. His work IS "custom" work.

I love when the search function works. Was going to start a thread about alternatives to the JMC carrier which is exactly what I want but don't want to wait two months for a carrier. This post saved me from starting a new thread and also from ordering one (or two or three...) carriers that weren't what I really wanted.
