combo rail mounted white light and green laser in a pretty small package that looks like it might work on a holster carried appendix. Laser is above the light, minimizing bore offset compared to an X400. No instinctive activation.

Anyone handled one yet?

JM / Tony told me about them.

I think its ATM that makes a laser above light. but its the size of the surefire/or TLR

INSIGHT has sub compact laser LED lights , But the laser is below.

There the cheaper sub compact TLR-4 again laser is below the light.

I don't know much about viridian?

Could go laser grips and a sub compact light.

I really want a inforce APL 200lumen with laser and a adjustable heavy duty mounting system.

Looks like CT has finally come up with something to compete directly with the Viridian C5L especially on sub-compact pistols. I'm interesting in this since I've also been running the C5L on my P2KSK. I really like the C5L but the buttons are less than ideal, ergonomically speaking, when it comes to ease of quick, one-handed activation. At least that's been my one and only issue.

This CT unit looks like it's got activation buttons similar to the Inforce APL and I love those. Been using that on my P30L for a while now and when I compare the activation of the APL vs my C5L there IS no comparison. APL wins hands down every time.

Now, to see what the battery life will be as well as the sticker price. <deep breath>

According to the CT website, $279 for a red laser and $379 for green.

You can count me on the eagerly awaiting list, however my desire for the green laser has waned.

Wow 100 lumens, so powerful--maybe in 2004.....

True, but the options for a light/laser combo with the laser on top are limited. CT grips, for Glocks, are just too big for me.

I agree. However, the MSRP vs. what I paid for my C5L was a big enough difference for me to give myself the green light to buy it. I'd expect a similar situation once the CT is available for a while.

Besides, the green is so much better visibility-wise than the red IMO that it's worth the price of admission even at MSRP.

I would think someone could make a SubCompact light that's 200lumen

Sub compacts lights and with laser
Insight X2
CT
Streamlight TLR-4
Viridian

Are all under 200lumen

Now that these are actually available, has anyone had the opportunity to try one out?

Bringing this thread back now that these have been out for a while. Anyone have time with this combo? Does the laser hold zero?

I would also like to read any hands on review of this model and how well the paddles work for activation. I've been considering this or a Viridian C5L for a P30.
