A recent thread prompted me to contact Crimson Trace as Laser Grips For the pistol in question (CZ Compact) were apparently available at some places but thought to no longer be in production.
This reply from Crimson Trace customer Service clarified the situation.

This isn't a particularly popular model but we still produce it and sell it directly to consumers. We do not, however, sell it through dealers.

If we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to let us know!

Best regards,

Good news! Even if the product isn't selling, I suppose that it doesn't make sense to throw away the mold.

Good get, Brian! Did they say what the price is for the compact grips?

makes sense they don't throw out the mold. They spend thousands of dollars engineering those things. My buddy worked on the last set of glock ones they did, and his part alone was well into the six figure range and that was only part of it.

There's some new pairs on eBay for $270.

They are now. But I assume at some point they will dry up and only be available from CT. The initial thought was that they weren't being made anymore. I wouldnt buy a pistol if CT grips were a requirement, if I didn't think I could get replacements in the future.
