Picked up a shiny new P30v1 today, and both my FFL and I managed to miss this little detail during the delivery inspection.

First Todd with the P229/2022 mixup, and now me with the P30/Mk23 snafu. Anyone else?

Every one of my guns could have the wrong manual in the box and I'd never know.

I am actually bolstered by this. It makes me feel like SIG is just as squared away as HK.

You need to call HK and let 'em know they sent the wrong gun with your instruction manual and they need to make it right.

My gun shop used to rifle through the boxes and even play with the gun. Manuals got mixed up all the time.

Well played. Well played, indeed.

I was gonna say...you guys read the manuals?

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

Hmm... Not too late to have Tony make the holsters I ordered for a Mk23 instead of a P30... though AIWB might get a little crowded.

I might have gone months or longer without noticing, but the legally mandated lock was rattling around in the case and annoying me. Imagine my surprise and amusement when I flipped over the manual.

Man rule #6: If you're really stuck, wait until everyone has left the room and discreetly retrieve the manual from the trash.

Go for that "I'm smuggling a cucumber" look.

Already there. Seems unfair to double down.

If you know any contractors, those things are awesome for securing ladders to the rack of a work truck. True fact.

Brilliant. You just solved a problem I needed to address before this summer, locking some stuff on a trailer rack. Sweet.

I bought a P30S V3 in 9mm a few months back .

The manual has more about the P2000 & P2000SK than my P30S V3!

Also wish the hard case had room for 3 more magazines.

The missing mag loader or the Key space is a good place for the inforce APL to fit.
