Oh, she's pretty....

Is it a *gasp* 9, like Magnum's? :)

I know nothing about 1911s, just asked based on other thread. That blueing is tempting me, though. That's REALLY pretty.

God I hate you.........in the jealous sort of way. Great score. I've always wanted a gun with my initials as the serial number.

I wonder if Gaston would sell me "TPD223" when that one gets made?

Too bad about all of the fingerprints, though. Better send it to me for break-in and cleaning.

There is a chance that will become a 50 per year edition that will sell for TRP money, and include a donation to my current favorite charity, the Maine LE fund.

If Colt can sell that for $1300, which is what CDNN has the TRP listed for in their sale paper today, then I would definitely take one.

That they cannot. Price to me was $1550.

Hell, I can't get a TRP for $1300 from any of our distributors.

$1550 isnt a deal killer. If they were to build a couple hundred of these, I would think they could get the price down.

What kind of barrel and ignition parts are they putting in them?

This proves that Bill is not concerned about the training, carry, and backup pistol concept.

Be careful...........it will be a set up. I foresee a "Drone Delivery".

If that colt becomes available as a standard production model, I'd order one up in a hurry. That's darn sexy. I'm currently lusting for a Wiley Clapp Government but I dig the straight serrations and the fuller TS on the one int the OP.

Is that 20lpi checkering?

At $1550 I would have my Visa out so fast your eyes would get bruised from trying to see it happen.
