Two absolutely useless firearms that I'll take to my grave.

I'm fond of this one. Wyoming product. Good for snakes and bulls.

I pocket carry mine loaded with .22mag shot shells when i'm messing around snake or rat territory.
I've killed two good sized rattlers and several Chihuahua sized rats with it.

I have a pocket holster coming that'll carry it and my SOG Paratool so I can have all my "tools" in one pocket.

The belt buckle guns are popular in Wyoming for using snake shot on charging bulls and also killing rattlesnakes with.

Kind of wish they'd make one in .32 S&W. Maybe with a DA folding trigger like the Kolb Baby Hammerless...

I'd love either too.

About a year or so back, lady here in town convinced a would-be rapist to take a dirt nap by inserting a 40 grain bullet into his CNS. She had the first rule of a gunfight down pat, she had a gun, even if it was a five shot revolver chambered in some flavor of .22 rimfire.

OK... the NAA is useful for snakes, rats, charging bulls and rapists.
But the Serbu has zero legitimate uses (unless you call making 5' diameter fireballs and shredding cardboard men at 10' with #8 shot useful).

I can think of one use. Little person duck hunting

Much bigger snakes is another.

It's all fun and games with the snake shot, until your snake is like 10-15 feet long.

Or door breeching. I like short guns for that. Needs a stand-off though.

And a chainsaw handle in place of the folding forward grip. I'm grinning just thinking about it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

Chain saw handles are retarded, and make Baby Odin weep.

They actually would get in the kittening way.

No. Just no.

You hear that? That's Baby Odin, crying in his crib...........................

Heh. Considering I was aiming to go full retard with the mental imagery, despite not having time to photoshop the full horror of a Super Shorty with a chainsaw handle: mission accomplished. :)

Back to your original point, I'm intrigued by what I've read about the Crye Six12 shotgun. I'm looking forward to seeing if they've actually managed to invent a superior Master Key replacement. Six breaching rounds on tap with a very quick transition to a short-barreled carbine for entry sounds like it could be a winner.

I had not seen that before. I hope it works well if adopted by anybody. In my experience, hooking shotguns to carbines results in two suboptimal weapons.

This has been my experience as well.

So I watched one of the videos that was linked to the Crye video, and heard Baby Odin weeping again when I see the live fire range demo on that new Army(?) master key attached to the M4.

Dude shooting the door appears to have no idea that "you're doing it wrong".

Was that the case involving the hotel desk clerk?

I am trying to push all knowledge of my Serbu out of my mind...might have it in another 6 months. And as for legitimate use...killing paper is a legitimate use, fun is a legitimate use, wasting ammo is a legitimate use...just sayin.

I haven't seen any range demos and 5-10 minutes of looking (probably in the wrong place) didn't turn up any... link?

Wow. I'm no door-kicker, but even I know enough about the topic to recognize the compounded fails in that video.

Conversation piece is a legitimate use, too! I've always wanted a 22 Short NAA revolver. Just 'cause the .22 Mag isn't short enough. :p

For me, an old Remington Vest Pocket .22 or one of those odd little French palm pistols.

One of my favorite little pistols is my Davis D-22 22lr derringer.

It can cut cards at 7 yards, even with its 25lbs trigger pull.

NAA had a prototype 32 which looked horrible. http://www.lesjones.com/posts/003001.shtml

I have a 22 S NAA because it is so cute. I wouldn't sneeze at the 22 Mag versions. Remember the officer who shot a BG with a 357 that didn't take him out and he shot the officer dead with the 22 Mag mini. I have one and have put snake shot in it when out walking to the deer blind. Since my friend on whose land the blind was on, has passed away - I now put 22 Mag Hornady Critical Defense in it for a low level bug at times.
