Layer 2 of a 3 layer tiled ballistic armor with EM protection (in other words, multifunctional armor). The ceramic is a mixture of carbides, predominantly SiC, and a significant by weight percentage of my CNT yarn material. Can't go further into process info. That tile was the intermediate layer and arrested the fragements from a 50cal hit at 75ft.
I'll see if I can get video.
