Anybody know the part number- or source- for a 6378 ALS for a Sig Mk 25 with SF300U? I tried a few searches but I couldn't find what I was looking for too easily. I have one for the Mk 25 and no light and would like to add a light-friendly model to the stable.

Thanks.

Wouldn't a 6378 made for a P226R with SF300U work? After all, the only difference is the mil-standard pic rail and that change would be alleviated once the light is attached.

I'm sure it would work, but my google and search Fu must be pretty weak. Every time I search for this holster, I find no light models or models made for the X300, not the X300U. I was hoping somebody would have the easy answer/link because they just bought one, etc.

I was actually looking at this exact thing the other day and came to the same conclusion. I'll be interested to find out as well.

IIRC, and that's a big "if", it was said on some cop forum that the X300U will fit Safariland gear for the X300 if you knock out the disc in the bottom of the holster. This will leave the lens uncovered, if that is a consideration for you.

Thanks.

Just ordered from Cop Quest, although is says upon placing my order it is back-ordered from Safariland, which is a little annoying since it showed in stock on their website. Oh well, at least I got it done. Thanks again.

And I'm still not sure about the 300 vs 300U fit...we'll see.

I look forward to seeing how/if it fits.

We have several Safariland ALS holsters for X300's and they do nor accept the Ultra. The front of the light bezel is the stop and the extra length of the Ultra causes problems.

Seems to depend on the individual combination somewhat. The newer holsters for the M&P, for example, seem to be tighter than the older ones.

A heat gun applied to the area around the disc while some pressure is applied with the light will usually move the disc down enough to eliminate the interference. Not always pretty, but it generally works.
