Sorry, this didn't get posted yesterday as scheduled. I've added an extra day to compensate.

Please read the rules (http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?1837-Drill-of-the-Week) before participating in this thread.

Week 88: 2-Second Challenge #4
results may be posted until 11:59pm EST on Saturday 7-December-2013.

Range: varies
Target: 8" circle, IPSC A-zone, or 8.5x11 sheet of paper
Start position: from concealment or a duty/retention holster
Rounds fired: varies

This is the last of our "What can you do in two seconds?" challenges.

Set up your target at seven yards. You will draw from either concealment or a duty/retention holster. If your range does not allow you to draw from a holster, begin from the ready position (gun in whatever condition you normally carry it).

Give yourself a 2-second PAR.

Draw and fire one shot at the target within the PAR time.

If you are successful with all hits in time five times in a row, repeat the test but increase the distance to 10 yards, maintaining the 2-second PAR.

If you are successful with all hits within the PAR five times in a row, repeat the test but increase the distance to 15 yards (keeping the 2s PAR).

As long as you get all hits within PAR five times in a row, keep adding five yards to the distance and try again.

Once you miss or go over PAR, the drill is over.

Please report the following when you post your results in this thread:

pistol and holster used
Start position (concealed, duty, or ready).
Farthest distance that you successfully scored all hits within PAR time for five successive attempts

Training with firearms is an inherently dangerous activity. Be sure to follow all safety protocols when using firearms or practicing these drills. These drills are provided for information purposes only. Use at your own risk.

M&P9fs w/RMR07 and bobbed beavertail in Fricke Seraphim AIWB concealed under un-tucked Patagonia front button shirt and Northface soft shell vest, firing Fed AE9FP 147 gr FMJ.

I shot at an 8.5 x 11" piece of paper that coincidentally also had a 8" circle centered on it.

At 30 yds, my last shot was still on the paper, but 0.25" outside the 8" circle at 11 o'clock.

At 35 yds, my second shot was on target, but over the time limit at 2.09s.

Very fun drill for an RDS equipped pistol!

I went 4/5 at 25 yards with my last run being a 2.02 seconds.
