Saw this on Recoil, thought I'd throw it out here.

Does anyone have experience with this holster? Any thoughts on first glance? I think it's interesting and for $60 might just be worth playing around with.

$60 (plus the cost of a WML ;) )...

If it comes with the t-shirt, I'm interested... :p

reminiscent of a Raven Vanguard isn't it

It's a very simple, but effective holster. I bought one because after our PD bought TLR equipped Glocks and part of our new policy was that the lights were not to be removed. As a person who primarily carries AIWB (off-duty) I needed a light compatible AIWB and this was all I found. The holster is very secure to the light and although much of the pistol is exposed the trigger guard is covered. Similar to an RCS Vanguard 2. As far as concealment it's not as effective as my Shaggy but it has a very small footprint and hides well. It could use more tucking of the pistls butt. Depending if you prefer a sweat guard on your holster may influence how comfortable you think it is, I found it comfortable. You can adjust the loop for any can't so it's possible to wear it at most any position. Drawing was fine but care needed to be taken in reholstering. I ended up gifting my holster to one of our narcotics guys who loves it. I intended to get another.

MD, thanks for the great info!

Roy, I'd happily pay an extra $10 if the t shirt was included, lol.

I'm on my third day with one. Picked it up based on the recommendation of a buddy. Am using it to carry a fullsize M&P 9mm with an X300 & DG switch. The holster is snugger than the Vanguard 2 was with the same pistol - minus the light.

Comfortable when driving, socializing in public, etc. So far, I am liking it.

I use mine to carry my duty gun with X300 to and from work when I'm working a patrol shift or headed to a search warrant briefing. I like it very much for that purpose and it's been comfortable for me, though the beaver tail on my M&P does dig into my ribs dependent on position. Retention is very good and all around I think its a great holster. The fact that I can use it for any gun with x300 attached is a huge bonus.
