I'm looking for a light bearing holster for a M&P45C with a TLR-1 and I'm having so-so luck. It seems to be easier to find holsters for the fullsize model. I was particularly interested in this one from safariland. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/safariland-sw-45-tactical-light-ready-level-iii-als-holster.aspx?a=1510534
I was curious if a compact model would work in it since that seemed to work with glocks and safariland holsters (i.e. a G19 would work in a G17 ALS holster).

Works fine. I use my M&P45 fs w/ambi-safety holsters for ALL my M&P's in every caliber--kind of a universal M&P holster...

The 45C and the 45M are thicker at the muzzle than is the 45 full size. The M and C models can be put into the holsters for the full size models, but it is going to be a much tighter fit.

Safariland does make holsters for the M and C with weapon mounted lights. I have a 6377/WML sized specifically for the M/C.

Where did you get your 6377 from?

Where did you get your 6377 from?

My local supplier, Lawmens, told me that the 6377 was replaced with the 6378 which has both a paddle and belt loop. The 6377 is just the belt loop. I googled the 6377 just now and see they're still on the internets.

Recently I obtained a few Safariland gift cards and gave them to my shift. One of the guys wanted one that would accommodate a WML. He contacted Safariland directly and they shipped him one.

We have a Safariland dealer locally. I dug through their master catalog and found the part number and had them order it. I'll try to remember to look on the holster tonight and get the exact number for you.

Just check one of the charts, and it looks like 6378-9192 is for the STX fitting both the TLR-1 and the X200/300.

After getting an email from Safariland that they did have the 6378-9192 in stock I ordered one this morning, so I have at least one correct holster for the gun coming.
