I don't know why people make up BS tests to simulate bullet performance when there is a scientifically-proven link between street results and bullet performance and it is properly calibrated 10% ordnance gelatin. But, whatever, I carry 38 158 grain LSWCHP and 135 grain Gold Dot and don't feel under-gunned; the .357 Gold Dot would give me a warm fuzzy feeling if I carried a .357. I mostly carry 147 grain HST out of a G43 off-duty. and Gen 4 G17 on duty. I do love my revolvers, though, and .38 is good enough for me. I would not be upset if I had to carry .357 Gold Dot in my 4" Speed-Six, M19 6" or other fighting revolver.
