Not something I’ve had the opportunity to do yet, I am into sidemount and wreck so eventually.

Knives. Custom, production, fixed and folder. Sigh...

    Cool.

I thought it might be something like that. I have been over a couple wrecks, e.g. U352 at Moorhead City NC, the Thistlegorm in the Red Sea at Ras Muhammed. I only stuck my head in the few openings, and nothing really deep (below 130) or exotic (not a mixed gas guy). I don't really like overhead environments. Caves in the dark? No thanks.

Except Night Diving; I really like diving at night. Lots of weird critters you don't see during the day.

I’d say that too but I recently pared (ha) down my collection.

While I’ve slowed down some, I played competitive slow pitch softball for quite a while. That can put a dent in your wallet with gear, uniforms, and league/tournament fees. Much like shooting, you can’t buy talent but you can spend a lot trying to look like you’ve got it.

    You have a sharp wit.

I've pared down my collection as well by a few grand over the past couple of years but not by all that much on a percentage basis.

That said, I'm fortunate to not be in the position where I need to sell to raise funds, and I'm not actively shopping the pieces around. When I come across someone looking for a knife I own and am willing to part with, I reach out if inclined and let them decide for themselves if they want to take it further. So far it's been working out well, if slowly, given the haphazard manner.

Sorry to hear that, Stephanie. But I'm glad you're fully recovered.

I think you've made a very down to earth decision. (With apologies in advance to @Casual Friday who knows that I'm just having some fun messing with him.)
