Is there a general consensus on who makes the best 'blue' (training/dummy) guns? Alternately, any brand(s) that should be avoided.
Many thanks.

I have Ring's and Blackhawk. Both are good, neither is perfect. For my purposes, working on grip, presentation, and sight acquisition, they work just fine.
The Ring's is a little heavier and made from a denser material than the Blackhawk.
I'm not familiar with other options.
There's nothing civil about this war.
I’ve got a couple of the Cold Steel versions. They’re alright...better for contact applications than the competitors because they’re made of something I approximate to closed cell foam.
I have the ASP red guns too, and they tend to be about 5% smaller than the real guns they’re modeled after.

Blackhawk dummy guns won’t take a coat of paint if the material color doesn’t meet needs.

It kind of bugs me that Rings doesnt make an M9A1 blue gun, only a 92A1.
Ive used Rings and I think ASP (red). For what they are, I like Rings most I think. They seem truest to size and shape.

Rings G19 vs. real McCoy
Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Doodie Project?
Controls are obviously fixed but “workable”.
