Thread: Best place to pick up a sight pusher

  1. #11
Too late, but I would suggest only purchasing the MGW Sight Pro. It has much more adjust ability than the gun specific ones. And since the shoes are $20 after 3-4 different guns you are saving money.

Anyone using the MGW sight pusher with the Warren rear sight?
Is the boy you were proud of the man you are?

I've used it on two M&Ps, if that's relevant.

Yes, it works fine. I have one if you want to borrow it.

To pile on here, I've used my MGW sight tool to put on about 6-7 sets of Warrens on my guns and some friends' guns.

I did not have good luck installing Trijicon Novak style Glock sights with the MGW pusher. The sights were not flat on the sides so the pusher didn't work right for those sites.

MGW makes two glock sight tools, one for standard glock sights with 45 degree sides and one for sights with flat 90 degree sides.

The MGW universal tool was pretty cool when I used it but a 1/4" brass rod will do wonders for most guns. I've met an HK or two that it wouldn't work for but they have that reputation. Glock sight changes take less than a minute and I actually find it just as easy to center and drift adjust them with the rod.

The MGW now has an adapter shoe for the Glock 42 & 43, pretty inexpensive and there are a lot of them out there. $33.00 at Brownells, it's worth picking up.
