    Are these two .223 cal. rounds the same?

    Folks -I am interested if these two .223 rounds are the same? (1)-Federal Fusion-62gr. soft point
    (2) Federal LE Tactical-62gr. soft point-LE223T3

    All are good bullets, but they are not the same. The Fusion is essentially a Gold Dot--a plated style of bullet. The LE223T3 is a more robust bonded round.

    Huh. I had always just ass-u-med that, at least with Speer projectiles, "bonded"="Gold Dot"= plated. Now you've got me curious as to the difference?
