Frustrating day. Had a alot of malfunctions with my new ported top end. Which is odd cuz I shot a couple hundred rounds through it over the last week without issues. After 3 stages of malfunction clearing practice (and with 2 different ammo brands) I switched top ends to my Lucky 7 G19 top end. No more issues. I am digging the new Justice II from Swampfox.

Local match. I've had so much going on that I had essentially no dry or live practice for over a month. My peak performance was decent, but consistency sucked (1M, 2NS, makeups on steel).

Today’s USPSA match. First 2 stages were a dumpster fire, but I got back on track. Turns out you gotta have both speed AND accuracy to do well. Ended up 15th out of 90 overall and 4/13 in Open.

Very cool video and awesome custom Glock. Great shooting!

I’ve primarily been shooting single stacks for my pistols for the past couple of months, and .45 ACP in the last month or so. I have optics mounted and irons only 1911s. Since receiving the ACW MEUSOC I’ve been trying to focus on irons shooting, but it’s been a long while since I’ve done that. I also have very little experience shooting irons in a competition format (i.e. performance/action shooting).

I had a multi-gun match last night. Vids are the last stage. I did this a little goofy trying to “tac reload” moving to the second portion of the stage. I decided to shoot SHO and then reload with the mag in hand. Obviously I should have stowed (or ditched) that mag and grabbed a full mag in order to engage the rest of the pistol targets. I also reloaded a target early, which messed up my round count up. Rifle went fine. MGM is always fun and running a stage like this with a single-stack is a blast. At least the vids end up being entertaining.

    PCSL targets = rifle
    USPSA Metric = pistol

PCSL K-Zone counts as 2A, hence why you see me shooting only once on most of the rifle targets. We also counted the headbox A-Zone of the USPSA metric targets as 2A.

    Rifle: IWI Zion-15 12.5”
    Pistol: ACW MEUSOC .45 ACP

Still getting used to reloading single-stack with no extended magwell onnthis MEUSOC. Sometimes it’s smooth, and most of the time it’s not… like in these vids.

Thanks. It’s rapidly becoming my favorite Glock clone. I’ve got one more thing I want to do with it to fix the only issue I have with it (don’t like the mag opening at bottom of frame).
