Just picked it up today. Ruger Single Six, .22 WMR. Alaska, here I come!
While I don't think that QUITE what the gentleman in the video had in mind with his thought process, you will cut a very dashing figure.

Having been in close contact with a brown bear and a cow moose with a calf, I think I'd rather fight the bear.

A few years ago, a large bull moose walked like 50 feet in front of my truck on a Forest Service road. The size and mass was unbelievable to me.

I had no concept of how big a moose is until a Bass Pro opened and they had a full body mount of one. I’ve been to a fair number of deer/car crashes but can’t imagine the aftermath of hitting a moose

This fatality took place just several miles from where we live. They are all over the neighborhood, especially now when they are dropping their babies. They are generally very pleasant until they become very unpleasant! A cow moose almost stomped my wife and I out on snowshoes, and it took a warning shot at about 10 yards to discourage it.

I was near there a month or so ago. HPG kit bag carries all the needed daily essentials in areas with lots of the uninitiated.
