    I went differently. 1915 Colt New Service. Custom fitted 3-1/2" Douglas barrel. Maintained the .455 chambering. Weighs 36 ozs. Same as 4-inch S&W K-frame .38 Special. Gives 724 fps with CIL-Dominion .455 Colt, and 592 fps with Hornady .455 MkII.

    That is a legitimate pocket blaster for sure. Those thumb sized hunks of .455 lead are the epitome of a serious Psitol bullet. I also expect the 3.5” barrel is a perfect velocity compromise with superb balance.

    I have great appreciation for the Webley design and history. Mine are family heirlooms in the less stout .38-200, but the .455 is a constant siren call.
