For anyone needing to conduct their annual LEOSA qual in Virginia,X-CAL in Loudon is an excellent venue. I completed mine yesterday evening with Jim Nida, who formerly ran this course from the now defunct Elite Shooting Sports. The course is slated to take two hours, with the first hour being spent in the classroom, where applicable Federal and State statutes were explained and reviewed. The second hour was spent on the range, where each shooter had to successfully pass a basic handgun qualification.

If you haven't checked out X-CAL, do it. It's a phenomenal range and fitness facility, and while not as convenient for me as Elite, I can easily see this becoming my home range.
