I remember that Dean respected the late TLG. I suspect that he had a few fans left here.

Sorry to hear that.
I was a long time fan of Dean.
RIP Mr. Speir.
His work on the early Glock issues, especially the NYPD "Phase 3" malfunction, was very impressive. I remember reading many of his articles.
Oh, shit, I am sorry to hear that. Dean was a valued friend.
I remember many of his articles from Combat Handguns. He had an interesting writing style and wasn't shy about challenging groupthink ideas.
RIP.
Rest in peace.
Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.
Don’t tread on volcanos!
aka "Waldo Lydecker"
An early teller of truth in the days when ad copy and shill review in gun magazines and Fudd lore were most of what passed for information on guns.
He'll be missed. RIP.
RIP
Admired his work.
Rest in peace Dean! You will be missed.
Yes, we are diminished.

I enjoyed his "Industry Insider" column, but can't remember what publication it was in.
He and I butted heads on many occasions. He knew his shit.
