FWIW, in my first dept., which I believe still shoots more bad guys every year than any other CONUS organization (I could be wrong, but I think that is still true), one of my mentors was almost into the double digits. He was transferred off the street for a while to teach, but he has more than 20 years in, and is now back out on the street. Solid gunfighter all the way around.

BTW, having watched the pilot Monday night it's now Thursday afternoon and I've seen the first two and a half seasons. Season 4 is already bought and paid for on YuoTube, as well.
