Walther might have the highest striker gun build quality. Their guns run reliably for high round counts, and are popular among competitors.

If I had to shoot a striker gun for competition, I would choose a CZ P-10. The ergonomics work well for me, and for some reason, the Walthers don’t.

I could be perfectly happy with a Glock though.

Another G34, a Walther Q5 Match, or a CZ P-10.

Practically, there's nothing the 34 can't do that it sounds like you actually need it to do. So get a Shadow 2 or a USP. Neither needs justification.
