Not stainless, coated with epoxy with a HUGE amount of PTFE in it.

Now, someone sent me a dirty mag....

    Some pics, then some thoughts:

HK makes such a lovely magazine. I wish they'd make a 1911 magazine. I really do.

Their guns look horribly crude and unfinished compared to the truly excellent mags. Feel free to disagree, but MIM ejection marks on sights are just plain tacky. HK is the best magazine company in the world.

Maybe H&K has figured out that "pretty gun ≠ reliable gun".
Put their engineering and manufacturing effort into what really matters instead of fluff and buff.

Ehh. If that were indeed the case, the slide wouldn't weight 50% more than it should, and they would expend much more recoil energy cocking the gun.

I loved how they welded the USP 9C mags I had, it was a thing of beauty. The tiny welds almost eased the pain of their high cost.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

How else would they have such a high bore axis??

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Their designs are in service worldwide... your designs are... theoretical?
