That's because the three-digit S/N on Tamara's begins with a 6

(Which means your gun dates roughly to '01 or '02, so my memory is obviously bad on the dates of the changeover. It was obviously a year or so earlier...)

EDIT: And I bought mine used, as well, back in September of '01, and since this is the "show off thread", I will mention that I only paid $1,300 for an LNIB PC9111.

Got me beat. I paid $1700 or $1800 for mine used in 2008.

Only the one closest to the dog's head is my Steyr. The Green one in the middle is an MSAR and the black one on the right is a TPD, both of which were for an article and later returned to the manufacturers.

Went to Tennessee last weekend for a close friend's wedding. (Round trip ended up being around 650 miles)

Checked my current balances on the way home, discovered I'd drastically overbudgeted for the trip.

I was mostly amused that this is the first gun I've bought NIB, yet the least I've ever paid for one.
