    My first gut reaction is that when I can buy a Surefire, why would I buy anything else.

    Then I read the link that peterb posted....

    Yeah, I guess my gut instinct was right...

    I stick with Surefire as well. EB1, G2X, Fury, X300. No need for anything else for me.

    No info. or use on this brand, but my rule of thumb for illumination tools is to stick with SureFire or Streamlight. Your use/requirements, activity-EDC, weapon use, etc. and battery fed (CR123) vs. rechargeable will also play a factor. Both companies make solid products that are very dependable and most importantly, both stand by their product to repair or replace when they quit working.

    I got a Nightcore TM-11 (2000lm) just for fun. If I remember correctly it was $150 shipped. Not including batteries (4x18650) and charger. Runtime is incredible. Here are some beam comparison shots.
