I run one pouch and put a mag in my back pocket if the stage requires a reload. You probably won't need the 3rd mag during a COF, just at the end to top off.

Thanks for the tip. I'll stick with my current carry gear then. Honestly, it looks like I am going to retire the 5.11 gear... it got in the way during the draw and re-holstering.
