It is quite obvious that the author of that article has never been on the Internet.

Apparently this advice is not just for Colorado ladies. A quick Google: police rape prevention advice and nearly the same advice applies to Metropolitan Community College ladies in Omaha, NE and plenty of other colleges and police departments advocate the same victimization advice as well.

Try to stay calm so that you can gather information and make decisions. Draw attention to yourself — scream, yell "fire" or "help". Resist as long as it is safe to do so. Claim to be sick, pregnant, have a venereal disease or to have AIDS.

Slightly OT, but I had an arguement based on these tactics with someone who advocated non-violent compliance to a violent attack who couldn't wrap their head around my point that there was no guarantee that complying with an attacker would prevent serious injury/death vs. fighting/defending (which also has no guarantee admittedly). Winning just didn't compute. Life should be fair, and participation should be awarded are also frequent topics with this individual.

Colorado marijuana regulators sign off on pot tourism

Marijuana tourism is on the way to Colorado, under a recommendation made Tuesday by a state task force to regulate the drug made legal by voters last year.

But Colorado should erect signs in airports and borders telling visitors they can't take pot home, the task force recommended

Colorado has been a blue state for a long time. When I moved there in 2000 it was very hard to get a permit to carry and we had to fight hard to get the RHINO governor to sign legislation making it easier.

There are a ton of red areas but it is basically blue from Colorado Springs up to Fort Collins.

The military is pretty good at shoving Colorado Springs red, or at least more than it should be. The majority of the state reps from this area are Republicans. Now you wouldnt know it from walking around the parks in downtown Colorado Springs, they are full of hippies.

    The opposition is overwhelming...

    GUYS!!! IT IS WORKING!!!!!!

    http://coloradopeakpolitics.co...pacity-magazine-ban/

Hickenlooper is expressing doubt about the mag ban!!!!

DON'T GIVE UP!!! PLEASE FIGHT WITH US!!! Hammer, hammer, HAMMER the Governor with your opposition these bills. He needs to feel the heat right now!

Any chance you get...send a message to Gov Hickenlooper and (politely) DEMAND that he veto HB-1224, HB-1226, HB-1228 and HB-1229. He also needs to hear from out-of-staters letting him know that they do not support what the CO State Legislature is planning to ram through and will NOT spend any tourism dollars here. The threat of losing money (i.e. Magpul) is very powerful, not to mention the embarrassment of losing jobs and tourism.

We need your help!!! Don't let this stop!! Here are the links:

    facebook: www.facebook.com/JohnHickenlooper

    email: http://www.colorado.gov/govhdi...sts/opinion-leg.html

If you email or post on his facebook, there is one message to send: VETO HB-1224, HB-1226, HB-1228 and HB-1229.

Thanks guys!!! It is making a difference!!!
