@Tokarev, does the underside of your 1911X slide look like a typical S80?

The S80 parts are not visible through the top of the slide when the optic is off.

I haven't pulled the spring and plunger out of the slide. I don't know if SIG is doing something different with these parts. Making them shorter than usual, etc. I assume someone can replicate the depth/style of the SIG cut to retain function of the S80 plunger.

I’m looking at alternative ways of getting a low mounted RDO onto a 1911. I had forgotten my Ruger LW 5” .45 is Series 70, so that is a possibility.

Has anyone done or seen the CHPWS direct milling service for a RMSc footprint? (EPS Carry, Romeo-X Compact, etc.) I’m curious how low it rides.
