I agree in the different in a total and partial eclipse. This my first total. 13:47 CDT here on wood street in Texarkana.
We had partial cloud cover. Sometimes it was blocked, other times completely clear. Fortunately it was clear for the totality. I saw the diamond ring.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

Just a few brief crescents, the totality darkness was interesting but disappointed.

My Wife and I brought our two daughters, 5 and almost 2 to Ohio to watch the eclipse. My wife’s family is from Ohio, so it was a nice excuse to visit. My wife and I saw the one in ‘17 and really enjoyed it. My 5 year old got a big kick out of this one, the almost 2 year old could hardly be bothered. She hadn’t had a good nap, and that heavily influences the opinions of an almost 2 year old.
