New (To Me) S&W Mdl 64-3

Adding another to the collection. Won a S&W Mdl 64-3 at a local auction site here in Knoxville. While it’s not brand spanking new, it’s in really good shape. Trying to decide whether to order a set of Pachmeyers for it or just get a an aluminum T-grip for it now. And of course, I’ll need another holster and another set of speedloaders for it. That’s half the fun! 😁.

The SN starts with 7D10XXX. Can someone give me an idea what’s it’s born on date might be?

It would seem that your gun was made in 1981.

I'm pretty sure I have an extra set of Pachs that I'll be happy to send you, if interested...

    Congrats @Moped! That's a beauty brother.

We'll most definitely have to plan a Revolver Shooting Day when time works out

    Nice score!

I will probably be in the minority, but I suggest the Pachmayr. The finger grooves on T-grips seem to be made for someone with gorilla-size fingers.

I love M64s! I have a 64-5 that I put some Black VZ stocks on them. I like the VZs.

I also have a set of white VZs, which I don't think that they make anymore, on my 10-6. I some times switch them up between the two.
