Well, I plan to inspect an apparently well-preserved Winchester 94, .30 WCF, today, having decided against putting it into my cart, on the web site, yesterday, sight unseen. We already have a shared “household” 94 .30 WCF, pre-cross-bolt, which was a gift from my then-future-wife to her now-deceased father, but though I have several lever rifles of my own, including a 94AE Trapper, none are .30 WCF/.30-30. I simply cannot justify spending most of $3K on an MCX Regulator, or any firearm, this year, but will follow reports on this MCX variant.
I have seen the reply posts, mentioning the M1 Garand. A Garand might well be the perfect front lawn rifle, but, a Winchester ‘94 fits into a slimmer scabbard, to ride as a truck rifle.
Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.
