The EDCLB UCL Universal Custom Lanyard is a combination neck and wrist lanyard.
Based on the EDCLB Custom Wrist Lanyard, the UCL includes an adjustable neck loop extension that connects via break-away barrel connectors. The neck loop extension includes a second slider to adjust the ride height of the flashlight to the user preference.
The break-away barrel connectors protect the user from injury should the flashlight or lanyard become entangled or grabbed by an assailant, and allows the user to quickly grab and detach the light if needed. With the neck loop extension detached, the UCL functions in the same manner as the EDCLB Custom Wrist Lanyard.
Used as a neck lanyard, the UCL comfortably carries a lightweight EDCLB 18350 PSP flashlight (2.6 ounces) in an easy to access location. This method of carry is ambidextrous, making the light easy to deploy with either hand and is especially effective for keeping a light quickly accessible when driving or from any seated position. The light can be concealed under a shirt, vest or jacket, or worn openly.
